Although we are a private club, situated on private property, and we maintain our own boat launches, and stock our own fish, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission insists on, and has legal rights to, monitor the lakes and ponds on our property for state violations...Taking this into consideration, it is strongly advised that your boat should have a current registration, (does not need to be Pa., just current), and that you follow all of the rules and regulations set forth by the State of Pennsylvania for both fishing and boating activities. This includes that all members who plan to fish, or even may be assisting someone else to fish, have a current Pa. fishing license and follow the set daily creel limits and size limits of the state. In some cases however, the club has increased size limits or decreased daily creel limits. Please check the back of your membership card for those adjustments... One point of concern is the size limit placed on Bass. The back of your membership card states that bass must be 12" long to be legal. This is not always true... During certain times of the year, Bass must be at least 15" long to be legal. Please check your Fishing Rules and Regulations book for this change...
